MATCH PREVIEW: SC VILLA HOST KITARA FC IN 2023/24 SEASON OPENER

Hop in everyone, the first home game is here! #TheJogoos will be welcoming newcomers Kitara FC in their opening game of 2023/24 season at Muteesa II Stadium- Wankulukuku.

The sides have only met once in the first leg of the 2020/21 season with the Jogoos coming out on top.

Skipper Kenneth Semakula had this to say ahead of tomorrow’s fixture;

“We’ve had a good pre-season in preparation for our games in the Uganda Premier League. We’re facing Kitara tomorrow and the technical team has prepared us very well. we look up to a good season and call upon all the Jogoos to come to support us.”

Forward Denis Ojara and Tabu Oryem suffer long-term injuries and are expected to return at the end of the first half of the season.

Whereas Defender Edward Masembe(Jaw fracture)
Jonah Kakande(knee), Lutalo Umar,(hamstring ), Sekiganda (toe injury )and Joseph Kafumbe(Muscle tear) are also sidelined.

The rest of the squad is available and fit for selection.
