FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: THE JOGOOS AIM TO SHINE AT KITENDE

As the sun sets on Friday, October 20, 2023, the Jogoos are eagerly anticipating an exciting showdown as SC Villa prepares to make a short trip to St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende. This clash is part of Matchday Four in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

The Jogoos, are in high spirits as they head into this game. Their previous match against NEC FC saw them clinch a well-deserved victory. Riding on the momentum of that win, they are determined to keep their winning form intact and continue to make strides in the league standings.

Tabu Oryem and Denis Ojara, who have been dealing with long-term injuries, have both undergone surgery and are currently in the rehabilitation phase. In the meantime, Left Back Joseph Kafumbe is still not in a condition to return to full training. Goal keeper Meddie Kibirige is down with malaria. Rogers Kiwanuka is also sidelined due to a knock. However, the remainder of the squad is fit and ready for selection.
