Review: #TheJogoos 2-2 Police.

Ssenoga and Goffin combine twice for each to score in the stalemate against Police F.C.

The Jogoos came into this game without defenders Asuman Harisheh and Derrick Ndahiro. With very limited options in defence, Coach Kaziba started Emmanuel Alex Wasswa in central defence. He partnered with Joseph Nsubuga, a right-back who always stepped at centre back whenever called upon.

Police got the first goal scoring chances of the game but failed to break the deadlock. On two different occasions, they attacked from the left-hand side of Villa’s but sent their shots inches wide away from the right-hand goalpost.

Villa’s first chance of the game came in the 17th minute. Centre half Joseph Nsubuga sent a long ball from a freekick a few inches from the centre line in Police’s half on the right flank into the area. The ball was seemingly headed away by a defender but it fell into the path of Goffin. Goffin managed to pick out advancing Muhammad Ssenoga who curled into the bottom left corner to give Villa the lead.
