SC VILLA HOST MBARARA CITY FC

The Jogoos will host western side Mbarara City FC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League matchday 22 at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

SC Villa will look to maximize their opportunity at home and secure a win from their opponents in this second leg of the league. The first leg ended in a nil-nil draw in Kakyeka.

Game Stats
In their last five meetings, the Jogoos have secured two wins, as well as Mbarara City, with only one draw among them.

Team News
The Jogoos are boosted with the return of youngsters Hakim Mutebi, Abas Kyeyune, Patrick Kakande, and Cyrus Kibande, who were out with the Hippos participating in the Dire cup and All African Games in Ethiopia and Ghana Respectively.

Skipper Kenneth Semakula and midfielder Ronald Sekiganda are also back after representation with the Cranes in the recently concluded international friendlies against Comoros and Ghana. Assistant head coach Morley Byekwaso and Doctors Emma Nakabago and Michael Gumisiriza are also back to the staff after their respective national duties.

Goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige, with a back injury, and Defender Gavin Kizito, who got a straight red card in our last outing, will be out for this fixture. Other than the above, the squad is available and ready for selection.

“Mbarara is not an easy team to play as they have good coaches and players, but we’re aware of the task ahead – go all out, work as a team, and get the points to enable us to reach our goal this season.” – Center Back Odong Arnold

Kickoff tomorrow is at exactly 1600hrs (EAT) with entry fees 10k regular and 50k VIP. The game will also be live on Sanyuka TV.
