UPDF Condemns SC Villa To First Home Defeat Of the Season.

UPDF scored in the 74th minute of the game to walk away with all three points from the Bombo Military Barracks Grounds.

In the opening quarter of an hour of the game, UPDF were the dominant side. They attacked the Villa goal without remorse. They created 4 goal scoring chances, had one shot target and forced 4 corner kicks but the Villa defence stood firm.

In the process of neutralizing the opponents’ forward advances, Derrick Ndahiro pulled down an opponent. This earned him his third yellow card of the season making him suspended for our next fixture.

The Jogoos got the first attempt on goal in the 20th minute when striker Ogwang’s shot was tipped by the goalkeeper onto the crossbar and into a corner kick. At this point, Kaziba’s boys looked like they had gained their attacking boots.

Both teams continued pushing for an opener but both goalkeepers held their ground most especially Meddie Kibirige who pushed away many balls targeted for his goal.
