In matchday 28 of the Startimes Uganda Premier League, SC Villa will embark on a short trip to face UPDF FC at Bombo Barracks. The Jogoos are singularly focused on securing maximum points in this encounter.
This marks the second meeting between the sides, with the first ending in a victory for the Jogoos on their home turf. Over the last five encounters, SC Villa has emerged victorious in three, with two matches ending in a draw.
“We understand the importance of every game we play now, we are in a chase for the top spot on the log. UPDF is not easy at their home but we need the points more so we will do all that we can to secure a win,” expressed Midfielder Missi Diego Semugera.
However, SC Villa will be without the services of Charles Lwanga due to card accumulation. Despite this setback, the rest of the squad is available for selection.
